About the UFE

Representing the trade union Interests of employees in Europe

UFE is the only organisation representing the trade union interests of employees from all ranks of the tax and customs administration authorities of Europe. It brings together more than 400,000 members from 40 member unions in more than 20 countries.

What we do

Our Important Role in Europe

We convince the European institutions of the key role played by the members of the financial administration authorities in the European integration process.

Justice

We strenghten the war against tax evasion and avoidance. We fight against money laundering and terrorist Financing. We fight for tax justice and effective custom administrations.

We fight for the interests of over 400.000 custom and tax officers all over Europe. We fight for properly resourced administrations.

fair payment and good working conditions

We want to achieve a fair payment for the tax and custom officers allover Europe. We want to establish modern working conditions and use the possibilities of the digitalistion. We want to increase the compatibility of family and work.

High level of education

We promote harmonised training and exchange of personnel within our European member states.

Knowledge and Information Transfer

We function as an information exchange for our member unions.
