45th Commitee in Lissabon

At the 45th Committee Congress in Lisbon, scheduled new elections were on the agenda. For the President of UFE Dieter Ondracek, who did not run for office again for reasons of age, Serge Colin (France) was elected the new President of UFE.

40th Commitee

The 40 th Committee Congress in Brussels in 2000 took place with the Belgium Minister of Finance, Didier Reynders, and the EU Commissioner competent for budget and combating abuse, Dr. Michaele Schreyer, as well as the General Director Michael van den Abeele participating. Three new member unions joined UFE:

Adaption of the name of UFE

In order to clarify the wide representation claim, the name “Union of Finance Officers in Europe” was changed into “Union of Finance Personnel in Europe”
